Serengeti Golf and Wildlife Estate, Kempton Park

The guidelines for the estate calls for contextually appropriate architecture to demonstrate a blend with the environment. The house was originally designed for the client by Jan Booysen in 2009. In 2011, after Jan relocated to the Cape, Joe Ferreira Architects were asked to take the project over. Further design development included the addition of a semi enclosed patio, linking the living areas of the house with a pool, and some rearrangement of internal spaces. We were also responsible for technical documentation and contract administration.
