The Wilds Estate, Pretoria East
The client wanted a large open area on the ground floor where the family will do most of their living. A lounge with fireplace, dining area, kitchen and bar all form part of this open space. This living area opens out onto a large covered patio with braai overlooking the pool. On the first floor, three bedrooms lead onto a partially covered balcony with a view towards the Bronberge.
A combination of face brick, plaster and natural stone was implemented on the facades. A double pitch metal clad roof with exposed beam and rafters cover the main structure while flat slab roofs cover protruding sections of the building.
