The brief called for additional classrooms with teachers offices. Toilet facilities should address the current shortfall of toilets at the school and cater for the new classrooms.
Classroom sizes and specification had to be standard as per GDE norms. Limited space available on the site led to the stacking of the classrooms on top of each other. The design outcome was two double story wings, separated by a garden court, and linked with a bridge.
